Volant intakes will come with a cleanable and reusable Pro5 filter, consisting of 4-cotton gauze layers and 1-synthetic layer, for great filtration and air flow. Unlike the factory filter, it will reduce air restriction and increases engine output by using precision pleat geometry, optimizing airflow throughout the entire intake system. Some kits will include Volant air ducts which are also cross-link polyethylene, sculptured to replace the restrictive factory inlets by enlarging the diameter of the inlet and avoiding awkward bends. This will improve airflow velocity and throttle response. The picture above will indicate if the kit includes a seperate air duct or not.

We recommend having the filter cleaned every 12,000-15,000 miles to improve the filters life and maintain the best filtration and air flow possible. With this being said, if you purchase this intake through us, you will recieve a free cleaning and reoiling kit shipped with your intake!
