All ViS Carbon Fiber Hoods are manufactured using a two-part construction design. The top layer utilizes a 100% ISO certified, Grade A carbon fiber material. The carbon fiber material is bonded to the hood using a high grade epoxy resin, and then finished with an ultra-clear (Poly Shield), UV-protective polyurethane coating to ensure a high gloss finish. Marrying aesthetics and functions, ViS pioneered the use of one-piece, smooth underside shell which complements the fine finish on top, and at the same time strengthens the product\'s structural integrity. The edges of each trunk are meticulously smoothed by hands to insure high-quality finish all around. The result is a carbon product that is unparalleled and excels above all else in quality, durability, and aesthetics.
Any of our carbon fiber products (or CF / C.F. for short), would be lighter than your metal OEM parts by about 50%. Along with the customized look, our vented hoods not only provide aesthetics, but the vents help to bring cool air in to reduce and extract the ambient heat in your engine bay.
ViS Carbon Fiber Hoods are made from the finest carbon fiber available. Each hood is protected with a UV coating which allows the hood to hold its high gloss finish. All our carbon fiber hoods are Grade A and above. ViS Carbon Fiber Hoods have a tight carbon weave, rolled edges, and one piece undersiding. Make sure when purchasing a ViS hood, look for the ViS Authenticity Badge. Hood pins are required. Intended for OFF ROAD use only.

Don\'t be misled by companies or manufacturers that claim OEM or 100% perfect fitment. Fiberglass parts are handmade and there is always room for discrepancy. Professional aftermarket customize body shop installation is highly recommended. Modifications are required to ensure proper fitment which may include surface preping likes sanding and filling in before the parts can be painted, In extreme case; cutting, shaving, remolding and applying heat to the parts may be necessary to achieve show quality finish. Due to the difference between, US, Japanese and Euro Spec designs, the removal of the reinforcement bar or shock absorber may be required also. Quality parts will reduce the time it takes a body shop to fit/prep/ and paint a product - save money. All Body Kits come with wire mesh if applicable. Actual product may vary due to product enhancement. Accessories like fog lights, driving lights, splitter, canards, add-on lip, intake scoops, or other enhancement products are not included unless specified in the product description.
