If you'd like to re-seal your vacuum pump on the 2.5 VW 5-cylinder engine (see fitment gude), and you need the two seals, one for between the vacuum pump and the engine, and the other one that is inside the vacuum pump itself, this is what you need.
On cars with manual transmissions, you may be able to remove the vacuum pump as an assembly, while on cars with automatic transmissions, you will need to take the pump apart in pieces to be able to remove it from the car.
Once you take the pump apart, you will notice a square seal that may be leaking, or will start leaking if not replaced. These seals are not sold separately and this kit provides a regular round o-ring that is a good replacement for the square seal. The round o-ring is designed to withstand motor-oil and is of very high quality
