Set of 3 cam Adjuster rings - Oil control rings
The original types can be either brittle plastic type or Metal type - Both are interchanging and ofter break with lack of oil changes causing dirty oil to clogg the oil port in the cam adjuster and causing these ring to overheat and either break or cause grooves in the cam adjuster. This failure will cause the MIL (Check Engine Light) to turn on.
If you are replacing the camshaft due to the FSI pump failure, or resealing the back timing chain cover. Replace these during the job.You\'d save yourself a headache, time and money!
