INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS STEP BY STEP:
Please read through the following steps thoroughly. The process claims to take 8-10 minutes, but usually only takes about 5 to 8.During the update the screen may go blank for 30 seconds or so, this is normal, just wait. Don\'t panic and Do not switch off.Once the process finishes, the screen will tell you to remove the cd, which you should and insert back the map disc.Give it a second to reboot, and it should have finished.
- Open the drivers door, this must stay open during the entire procedure.
- Put your key in position 1.
- Remove Map DVD from trunk computer.
- Insert Software Update CD Disc.
- Small delay (maybe 30 seconds) then update screen with progress bar.
- Let the computer think, leave your door open. Installation should take between five to eight minutes.
- When it\'s done, it will say \" Software Successfully Loaded. \"
- Remove software CD/DVD from trunk, replace maps disc.
- Confirm your update by pressing \" OK \" with the right button.
- The system will now reboot with your new software.
To activate 3D Perspective map mode:
Push the \"MENU\" button to get to the main menu.
1. Scroll to the \"SET\" or \"SETTINGS\" menu selection & push the knob to select it.2. Hold in the \"MENU\" button for about 10 seconds to then enter the hidden \"GPS Service Menu\".3. Scroll beyond the bottom to a 2nd page where you can then select & activate the \"Perspective\" option.4. Go back to the main GPS menu & select \"GPS Navigation\", \"Map Positioning\", then select \"Perspective\".
