This product is STRICTLY FOR OFF-ROAD USE ONLY or use incountries outside of the United States that do not have emissionsrequirements! According to the EPA Clean Air Act, they are illegal for use on any Federal, State, or Local public highways and illegal use is punishable by the penalties enacted by the mentioned laws.

  • This simulator is not compatible with all vehicles! Some vehicles (usually newer) have programming to check the plausibility of the waveform from the oxygen sensor. In this case, it may detect that the signal is being simulated and can produce a check engine code. Also, some models will have non-standard wire color combinations to the simulator, making installation difficult.

  • This product only works to simulate the downstream oxygen sensors (behind the catalytic converter). The upstream sensors can never be simulated or bypassed because they are used to regulate the fuel mixture.

  • The O2 Sensor Simulator will only work if the O2 sensor in the vehicle is not bad or damaged, the ECU is not faulty, and the related wiring is in good condition.

Features:

  • The O2 Sensor Simulator can help clear the followingcheck engine errors:“Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold” - P0420, P0421, P0422, P0423, P0424, P0425, P0426, P0427, P0428, PO429, P0430.
  • The O2 Sensor Simulatorwill help get rid of a check engine light after modifying your exhaust or removing your catalytic converter for off road or track use vehicles, and when installing high-flow catalytic converters
  • This will work to simulate a wave pattern that the engine computer expects to see from the oxygen sensor.
  • It will work on most vehicles. However, some newer vehicles have programming to check the plausibility of the waveform from the oxygen sensor. In this case, it may detect that the signal is being simulated and can produce a check engine fault code.
  • For most vehicles, you will need to clear the stored fault codes with an OBD2 scanner for the Check Engine light to turn off.

Installation:

  • Installation involves connecting it into the oxygen sensor's wiring.
  • The O2 Sensor Simulatorcomes with wire diagrams and installation instructions for all common oxygen sensor wire color combinations.
  • It comes with heat-shrink crimp connectors for a water tight seal.
  • It needs to be secured away from any heat sources (hot exhaust pipes, converters, etc.).
  • For most vehicles, it is installed according the diagram below, but as mentioned above, some models do not follow the standard color combinations to the O2 sensor. In those cases, you will not be able to use the installation diagram and following said diagram can result in incorrect installation.
