We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted, it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you purchase from us, purchasing a product from us will signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
All goods shall remain the property of TDC Automotive Limited until paid for in full.
Delivery
The Customer shall inspect the goods as soon as delivery is made and contact us immediately to inform us of any defects or problems that are discovered. If defects are discovered and notified in time, at our discretion, the parts will be replaced by us
Goods returned within 14 days of receipt will be entitled to a full refund. Goods must be in an unused condition and be returned in their original packing. We reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee for any parts supplied correctly & returned after the initial 14 days has elapsed. The reason for return along with an invoice number must be included in the parcel.
Delivery charges and estimated timescales are specified when you place an order. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. TDC Automotive shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales. Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery.
Warranty
Products sold by TDC Automotive Limited are warranted against material and manufacturing defects only. Unless otherwise stated the warranty period offered by TDC Automoive Limited will be in line with the product manufacturers. The ‘Warranty Period’ begins from the date of purchase (invoice date). The warranty covers products used in accordance to their prescribed application and manner of usage and does not affect the end‐users statutory rights. Motorsport, track or competition use will immediately invalidate the terms of any warranty. Should a warranty claim occur, replacement product will only be supplied once the manufacturer has investigated and tested the failed unit/s and a manufacturing defect or material defect has been found to be the cause of the failure. All products returned under warranty will be subject to inspection and testing, prior to liability being determined. The warranty does not cover the costs associated to the subsequent failure of the product, as a consequence incidental labour and associated fitting costs are not within TDC Automotive Limited’s liability. Any claims with respect to lost profits or interruption of business are expressly excluded.
Brexit
Please note, from the 1st of January 2021 the UK left the EU single market and customs union. Due to this if your delivery address is outside the UK you may be asked to pay a customs clearance fee and the relevant VAT (and import duties if you are outside the EU) based on the order value. These charges vary for each country, please contact your local customs office for more details before placing your order. We are unable to include these fees in the purchase price of the item and the shipping charge only covers the delivery of the parcel. It is your responsibility as the buyer to pay the relevant customs fees and taxes. Failure to pay the fees due may result in the parcel being destroyed, in this case you may not be entitled to a refund.
