Turbo Sound Tip Whistler
1. What is a Turbo Sound Tip?
The pressure blowing out of your exhaust creates a spooling sound with this product installed. This sound is similar to how a real turbo works. In some cases, during shifts - back pressure is drawn through the unit creating a \"psssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhht\" type of sound. Similar to a blow off valve. The results will vary depending on your car.
The higher the RPM, the higher the pitch.
2. Will it fit on any exhaust?
The unit will mount on most exhaust systems. Remember, if you have TWO exhaust tips, you can install TWO if you want maximum sound output.
This item will not work on exhausts more than 2.5 inches in diameter. Please do not buy this item if your exhaust is larger than 3 inches in diamter. If your exhaust is aftermarket and has a large opening it is possible to still use this product, however we cannot guarantee the pressure coming out will be enough to make the noise.
3. What is the warranty on the product?
We offer a lifetime warranty on this product. We do recommend you check your bolts every few months as vibration can cause the bolt to get loose and allow the device to fall out.
4. How do I install this on my muffler?
- 1. Tighten the aluminum tip making sure nothing is loose on the part.
- 2. Insert the aluminum tip into the muffler pipe.
- 3. Tighten the bolt on the muffler edge, typically facing down so its hidden.
- 4. Start car and check and make sure bolt is still secure.
5. Will I gain or loose horsepower with this?
There is no way to gain power with this device, its only for sound. You also will not loose any power, as it does not block exhaust pressure.
6. What if I do not like the results?
No problem. We do accept returns. We cannot refund the original shipping cost, but we will give you a full refund minus shipping if you email us for a RMA. Please no negative feedbacks. We will leave you positive feedback ourselves either way. Any issues, emails us please!
