Item condition: DefinitionsChecked, good used - a part that was previously used and has been removed from an engine/transmission cutout, inspected for tolerances, and in has been passed through a parts cleaner. (This applies to items like our engine and transmission hard parts.)
Used - a part that was previously used and has been removed from an engine/transmission cutout, visually inspected, and has been externally cleaned. It has not been tested, but we assume that it works. (This applies to items like valve bodies and used solenoids.)
New - a part that is sold in its original packaging from the manufacturer. (This applies to items like transmission rebuild kits, frictions, steels, filters, gaskets, etc.)
Re-manufactured - a part that was used previously and has been restored to an \'almost new\' condition. Meets or exceeds OEM standards. (This applies to items like torque converters.)
Buyers should know:
History of used parts: We take tremendous pride in what we sell, but we do have some limitations when it comes knowing our parts\' history. Our used parts are taken out of engine/transmission cutouts from various sources. As a result, we DO NOT KNOW the detailed history of those parts. (mileage, etc.)
Rebuild kits and other \'New\' items cannot be returned if the original packaging has been opened. If you think you may wish to return them, inspect the contents carefully prior to opening their sealed packaging.
Pumpsare taken apart in-house, but are not reassembled to manufacturer\'s OE specifications. Please make sure you carefully look over your pump and tighten all bolts prior to installation. Use pump alignment tools when necessary. Failure to do this leads to broken gears and other problems.
Valve Bodies are sold as \'used\' in most cases because they cannot be tested in-house. We visually inspect them and assume that they work, but make no guarantee or warranty. They are sold with solenoids intact. Also, our pictures may or may not show a wiring harness. In many cases they ARE NOT included because they are often damaged during removal.
Drums are shipped out (in most cases) with the clutches still in them, however we cannot promise that the clutches are in great condition. We always recommend that you put new frictions and steels into your vehicle when doing a complete overhaul.
