This sale is for a set of Supertech Pistons of your choice for any Honda Acura B, K, or D - Series Engine. Also available are pistons specific to the popular B20/Vtec and LS/Vtec engine combinations. Please review the chart and images below and specify what bore size and what compression ratio of piston you want to order. This sale is for the set of pistons, wrist pins, locks, and rings. There are pictures below the charts of several of the pistons offered. Just match up the part number in the chart with the part number on the picture and you can see what your pistons will look like. Some pistons may not have a picture available at this time. Please email before you purchase to make sure the piston combination you want is in stock. If you have any questions about anything don't hesitate to ask.

Piston Design
Supertech has more than 40 years of experience in the design and manufacturing of racing pistons. In utilizing the latest CAD software and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Supertech combines experience and creativity to provide you with the best parts for your application. As the industry advances so does their commitment to providing customers with quality craftsmanship, performance gains, and uparallel research and development. This commitment has resulted in Supertech quickly becoming an industry leader in piston manufacturing.

Piston Manufacturing
Supertech pistons are manufactured from extruded high silicon, enhanced with 4032 alloy (with additional Cu, Ni, & Mg) featuring low thermal expansion, excellent wear resistance and higher thermal conductivity. Normally aspirated or high boost turbo pressure applications are available.

Supertech uses a 2 or 3 step forging process (depending on the application) which yields the finest structural grain orientating the fibers in the same direction as the stresses. This is done to insure greater stress resistance and improve durability. Additionally Supertech Provides several heat treatments to the piston with a high tensile strength and evenly distributed hardness.

The pistons are then subjected to several machining steps by specially designed CNC machines. Special diamond tools are used for dimensional precision, perpendicularity and to insure flatness of the ring grooves. All Supertech pistons feature contact reduction grooves and honed & reamed pin bores for precise fit.

Wrist pins are constructed of cold extruded chrome molly steel for high strength.

Piston Surface Finish
Finally Supertech's own "phosphate dry lubricant" coating is applied to protect the rings against "micro welding" and enhance lubrication on the skirt/cylinder area.

Piston rings are manufactured in Japan with the latest technology for high performance applications.
