If you have ever taken seats out of your Porsche, you know there is a very good chance the mounting bolts will strip or the allen socket headwill round out.
This is a set of steel, low head, yellow zinc dichromate, plated bolts for the front seat mounting and rails used in most Porsche models from the 1985 thru 1998. Included are twelve (12) 8MM x 1.25 pitch x 20MM Socket (allen) head bolts and twelve 8MM lock washers. They are used to hold the seatframe rails to the floor mounts.They are steel low head, yellow zinc dichromate plated, steel with a hardness rating of 8.8. The same as Porsche used as OEM from the factory.
They will fit the mountings on the Porsche 911, 944, 968, 964, 993, and 928 from1985 to 1995.
It is crucial to the safety of the vehicle that the seats be securely bolted to the proper mounting points. In my shop weuse these bolts to replace the stock boltson every seat we install.

I make every attempt to ship within 3 working days of when your payment is received as stated under “Handling Time” in the eBay listing.
Since The 928 Leather Shop is essentially one person; and “stuff happens” as the saying goes, delays may occur when I’m out of town, family matters come up, or one of my vendor’s unexpectedly backorders material.

Domestic Shipment
- Hood/Bonnet liners and carpet are shipped by the US Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail or Fed Ex Ground/Home Delivery depending on size, weight and destination.
- Shipments of floor insulation and carpet to the US Southwest and West Coast will be via Fed Ex Ground or Fed Ex Home Delivery.
- Experience has shown the in transit time from here (Dearborn Heights, Michigan) for Fed Ex Ground and Fed Ex Home Delivery to the US Southwest and West Coast is 4 - 6 business days, Florida and East coast is 4 - 5 business days. The Midwest is 1 - 3 business days.
- Sometimes it is necessary to fold carpet to avoid “oversize” charges.
- Fed Ex Home Delivery delivers on Saturday. Fed Ex Ground does not.
- Experience has shown the in transit time for the US Postal Service Priority mail is 2 - 5 business days. Delays can happen due to missed pickups by the carrier, the carrier not getting back to the Post Office in time at the end of the day and/or weather.
- While The USPS does provide a label tracking number for Priority Mail, packages are not often scanned and USPS tracking info on their web site is missing or not up to date.
- Fed Ex does have reliable tracking information and your email address will be entered to receive notifications. If you do not receive them, Please check your spam filter.
- Nut & bolt sets, small brackets, and decals are sent via US Postal Service First Class Mail. Transit time is 2 - 7 days depending on distance and other delaying factors.
- There is no tracking information for USPS First Class Mail.
International Shipments
- Hood/Bonnet liners and carpet are shipped by the US Postal Service (USPS) International Priority Mail.
- All international packages must be handed to a USPS employee. This requires a trip to the local Post Office and standing in line. There is a cost for this service and it is included in the shipping and handling charges for International shipping.
- While The USPS does provide a label tracking number for International Priority Mail, packages are not often scanned and USPS tracking info on their web site is missing or not up to date.
- Experience has shown that transit time for shipments to Canada is 5 -14 days. Europe is 6 -14 days. Australia, Asia and other parts of the world is 10 - 21 days.
- Nut & bolt sets, small brackets, and decals are sent via US Postal Service International First Class Mail (Airmail, Par Avon). Transit time is about 5-7 days to Canada and 10 -30 days for other countries.
- Sometimes packages are held by the receiving country Customs or taxing authority for days or even weeks. This is an issue with your federal or local authorities and not with me or the United States Postal Service.
- The USPS requires a copy of the original invoice be included with each shipment that states the value of the goods.
