Chrome Roof Trim Strip D.I.Y. Kit
The Do-It-Yourself kit will include (2) pieces of Chrome trim molding measuring66 inches (5.5ft) in length and 3/4" in width. The trim is made offlexible and durable high quality plastic with a 3M adhesive tape of the back. You will be trimming the chrome trim yourself to fit your roof. The trim will sit in the factory slot of the roof.This trim is not meant to continue down your windshield. The chrome trim can easily be cut to length with any pair of scissors. The chrome strip is backed with a 3M adhesive that allows it to adhere to the surface of your roof. The 3M adhesive will NOT leave residual glue residue on your vehicle. The installation and removal of the trim is quick and easy.
Installation process:
(1) - Measure the distance of the slot on your roof.
(2) - Cut the trim to the measurement you just took (measure twice and cut once).
(3) - Cleaning off the area of application with rubbing alcohol or water
(4) - Remove the strip covering the adhesive
(5) - Apply the trimto theroof
(6) - Remove the protective trim off the top of the chrome trim
