You are buying a brand new, NOS (New Old Stock), NLA (No Longer Available) original RUF strut tower brace for a 89-98 Porsche Carrera 911, models 964, 993 or C2, C4, C2S, C4S or 993 twin turbo, 964RS, 993RS and 965 (91-94 turbo & turbo 3.6). This strut brace was bought directly at RUF in Pfaffenhausen, Germany and brought over with a bunch of parts a few years ago -

These RUF 964/993 strut-braces are superbly engineered. They are made all of a high grade, black anodized Aluminum, the cross-bar, the machined end pieces and the adjusting sleeve-nut. At 982g total weight for the complete unit, the cross bar with the two ends and adjusting nut (less than one kg or just over 2lbs), it presents a perfect balance between light weight and strength. By far the best 964/993 strut-brace we have ever come across. One of the end pieces is engraved with the RUF part number and the RUF logo as the photos show.
It come complete with four barrel nuts for mounting, which is very easy. You take off two of the front strut/shock top mounting nuts each side, put the bar on and replace the original nuts with the barrel nuts supplied with the strut brace. It is recommended to take a little weight off the front of the car during mounting to be sure alignment does not change when the nuts are taken off and replaced. It is a good idea to mark the exact strut positions before taking the nuts off.

This is an excellent, very low weight, beautifully crafted and very functional strut brace, typical RUF quality.
As we have brought over many strut braces in the same box, you will not be receiving and original box but they are packaged in original RUF packaging.
