We are not a one-man operation doing this on the side, or a junkyard trying to make some extra money - our business is rebuilding automotive hydraulic systems, and we are widely known to be the best in the business.We have many Mercedes-Benz dealers using our services. Our Viton™/Teflon™ hybrid seals are unmatched.Are you thinking of replacing the seals yourself in order to save time or money? Hundreds of our customers haven fallen into that trap. Please consider the following:1) Please do the math: in our experience, the chances of an average DIYer damaging the cylinder in the process are far over 50%, and they are still over 25% per cylinder for very skilled people doing this the first time. The replacement cost is huge! By far the most \"hydraulic shops around the corner\" cannot do the job right!!! If they inflict only minor damage, the leaks may appear only after the seals have hardened.
2) Even if you were exceptionally skilled and lucky, you will not be able to find our quality of seals for sale, and the cup seals in these cylinders are not standard sizes. Plus, you will not find piston seals fitting these cylinder anywhere. They have to be custom made.
3) Why not \"give it a shot\" with O-rings? They don\'t work, and you are wasting your time, plus rather likely damaging your valuable cylinders. Occasionally, some eBay sellers will try to convince you that their O-Rings will work. We have many customers who have tried it, and it did NOT work. One eBay seller is known to sell a \"repair kit\" for all five cylinders with instructions for repair, but writes in the repair instructions that the trunk cylinders never fail (WRONG), and they cannot give detailed advice on how to perform the repair...
4) If anyone is trying to sell you NBR or Nitrile seals, they might be ignorant about that material. NBR/Nitrile is rated at a maximum of 1,500 psi, and your system must hold up to at least 3,000 psi!
Please leave the rebuild job up to the real professionals - your cylinders are far too valuable to risk damage to them.

I drive an Audi A4 Cabriolet. I went to the dealer because the top wasn\'t working properly. The dealer wanted to charge me $2,600 for a new hydraulic pump. I found Top Hydraulics and read some excellent review on various Audi forums.
I ordered a rebuilt pump, which arrived very quickly and was a fraction of the cost of the dealer\'s pump. I also called Top Hydraulics, and Klaus gave me simple instructions for how to replace the pump myself.

Outstanding in every way! Found TH while searching how to obtain and replace front lock cylinders on my 1998 SL500 when drivers side seal started leaking on Saturday. Website has great step by step PDFs files to download for each cylinder type replacement. Ordered Monday evening, parts arrived Thursday and included a custom 7mm wrench that is also countersunk on one side to be a perfect fit to unscrew the cylinder shaft from the lock. Whole job took about an hour to replace both locks, test, clean up and pack the used parts for return, including the loaner wrench. Even supplies necessary for return were included. I will definitely order the other nine cylinders when I have time to replace (ok now but sure to fail soon).

If you prefer other shipment options, such as different carriers, expedited service, required signature or insurance, an additional cost will be applied, so please contact us for such options. Whichever shipment choice you make, we will provide you with a link to track your package online.
Shipping fees include handling, packing and postage costs. In most cases, this actually means that we are taking a loss on shipping by extending a domestic flat shipping rate. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect your valuable parts.Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected.

Our Viton™/Teflon™ hybrid seals are unmatched.Are you thinking of replacing the seals yourself in order to save time or money? Hundreds of our customers haven fallen into that trap. Please consider the following:1) Please do the math: in our experience, the chances of an average DIYer damaging the cylinder in the process are far over 50%, and they are still over 25% per cylinder for very skilled people doing this the first time. The replacement cost is huge! By far the most \"hydraulic shops around the corner\" cannot do the job right!!! If they inflict only minor damage, the leaks may appear only after the seals have hardened.
2) Even if you were exceptionally skilled and lucky, you will not be able to find our quality of seals for sale, and the cup seals in these cylinders are not standard sizes. Plus, you will not find piston seals fitting these cylinder anywhere. They have to be custom made.
3) Why not \"give it a shot\" with O-rings? They don\'t work, and you are wasting your time, plus rather likely damaging your valuable cylinders. Occasionally, some eBay sellers will try to convince you that their O-Rings will work. We have many customers who have tried it, and it did NOT work. One eBay seller is known to sell a \"repair kit\" for all five cylinders with instructions for repair, but writes in the repair instructions that the trunk cylinders never fail (WRONG), and they cannot give detailed advice on how to perform the repair...
4) If anyone is trying to sell you NBR or Nitrile seals, they might be ignorant about that material. NBR/Nitrile is rated at a maximum of 1,500 psi, and your system must hold up to at least 3,000 psi!
Please leave the rebuild job up to the real professionals - your cylinders are far too valuable to risk damage to them.
