Window Latch Kit Description:

This is a Brand New Window Latch Kit . It comes ready to install. No modifications required.

To decrease the chance of breaking your new latch like your old one follow the below instructions.

  • With both sliding windows all the way open, using a Q-tip and a small amount of warm soapy water, clean out both the upper and lower guides of dirt.
  • Once clean, use a new Q-tip and a small amount of white lithium grease and lubricate both upper and lower channels.
  • Slide both windows back and forth several times.
  • This should be done once per year near the end of spring and will help minimize the risk of breaking the window latch again.
