Brand New Radio Wire Harness and Antenna Details: For select vehicles only. Use to add an aftermarket radio to the factory vehicle wiring. Standard wire coloring usually will connect color for color to aftermarket radio's wire Notes: Most vehicles will also need a radio installation kit. Mostvehicles require you to run a seperate 12 volt ignition power wire since that wire might not be available on the factory harness. As long as you know how to locate and connect that wire then you will save some money- if you don't know how to connect then we don't recommend this harness and you should purchase the harness that is about $40+ more that has built in adapter for that wire turn on. This harness only works with regular factory audio systems- if the factory audio system is the external amplified type like Infinity, Bose, Boston Acoustics, etc then this harness is not compatible. If the vehicle has delayed radio turn off like when the radio still works until you open the door then this harness might not retain that featureunless you run the ignition wire to connection that will have that delayed trigger. Will not retain some features that go through the radio like warning chimes, OnStar, rear dvd, steering audio controls, etc.- other adapters are needed for retention. If the vehicle's factory radio harness or antenna connection is torn out then obviously this won't work.
