Hello, as some of you know we recently had problems with a delay from a shipment, when it finally turned up, the supplier had messed up the order and had sent us someone else's products. Then our backup supplier sent a production of motors that were lacking the PTC. As bad as I needed them to cover all the orders I had pending, I was not going to sell them as they did not meet our specs as we adhere to strict quality control.
For the last few years what has distinguished us from the competition is the quality of our motors and the fact that they specifically made for us under our own specs and guidelines. When we started this business, I decided that I was going to provide the best motor that I could as I knew how much time and effort it took to repair the door locks in a car having been a car dealer in the past. For that same reason we decided we were not just going to buy surplus motors from anyone and just sell them on as other competitors are doing.
I am deeply for any delays we may have caused you in fixing your vehicle but we just could not sell a substandard motor,
I hope you give us another chance as we have resume shipping.
Sincerely Geoff and Ali
RENAULT CLIO II CENTRAL LOCKING TAILGATE MOTOR REPAIR
We have recently made aware by some of our buyers that some Sellers are selling "what appears to be same item" but in reality they are just surplus motors which are not made specifically for the application and have been reported of having poor performance and burning prematurely.
So Many time we have heard "I wish I have bought your motors from the beginning and not tried to save a couple of dollars. Now I have to do it all over again!!!"
So if you value your the time and are doing this yourself , ask yourself this question ," Do I want to do this all over again in a few months"?
do I save a couple of bucks and buy a surplus motor? or do I buy from DLUXCARS that only sells the one item and has them specifically made?
You get what you pay FOR
We have recently made aware by some of our buyers that some Sellers selling the "what appears to be same item" are recurring to the following:
seller by the name of (A....) is using false/made up response history it in their adds. They are claiming sales according to their add from
July 15/2009 to APRIL 20/2010 when in fact they have just started selling the motors in February 11/2011.
This is very easy to verify , all you have to do is click on the sellers name and go to the 2nd page
you click on their name and check history you will see that they have just started selling the item on February 11/2011,how can this be possible??
and that another seller ...
( Zli...) has copied our adds by changing the color of the background to black on some of his listings to match our in order to mislead our customers and further claim that the motors " were manufactured for my company specifically. We can guarantee the quality, because WE are the ones who designed the part."
When in fact they are a surplus electronic sale company!!!

FIX YOURTAILGATE YOURSELF !!!
This is a replacement motor for the tailgate central locking mechanism in a Renault Clio II (2001-2006). This motor is made specially for Dluxcarsand it is not available from the Renault dealerships as they supply the complete lock assembly, there is no reason to spend £50 + VAT forwhole assembly when is just the motor that is faulty and can be easily exchanged . The Dluxcar motor is available as a replacementforsame motor and it is produced as replacement for theMABUCHI motor.
If you took you car to the Renault dealer they will also charge you £100 labor to install the lock assembly, I find this to be excessive whenthere are only twoscrews to remove and the boot trim,The tool needed are common hand tools ,all you need is a torx screwdriver, hammer and centre punch ans some Loctite 638 (GREEN ) for insurance . It is very simple toDO THIS YOURSELF,DIY !!!JUST FOLLOW THE INTRUCTIONS ON THE LINK HERE PROVIDED.
This article on the Renault forum website describes how to replace the motor...including pictures
Please look at the link provided in order to learn how to remove the gear from the shaft of your motor. It is best if you have a gear puller, you should look for the GWS one on on the hobbie forums , as You will have to remove and refit the brass gear. You can alsouse a hammer and centre punch as this is quite easy to remove. To replace the gear onto the new motor please follow the advice given by the manufacture on the following link...>

These small motors are extremely powerful check the motor specifications below listed:
Part number: FC 280PC 22125
Also replaces the similar Johnson Electric KF243G-101 motor used in same applications. Which is the same motor as the FC-280PT-22125, with the exception that this motor doesn't come with the Brass Tip that the 280PT model comes with. however you can always remove the brass tip and swap it over between the motors if your application needs the brass tip on the motor shaft.
On some applications you will have to remove and refit the brass gear. Using a hammer and centre punch this is qiute easy to remove. To replace the gear onto the new motor please follow the advice given by the manufacture on the following link...>Please follow the directionson this link
