Easy fit - just cut the hose, cut out around 4 inch of the hose and put the new ABC Magnetic Filter between.
For sure the two required metal hose clamps comes with this filter.
This filter keep the oil clean and collect metal wear which could harm your entire ABC suspension.
Remark: metal engine wear has a size of 2 to 10 micron and the improved (if you already have it in) reservoir filter catch just the 3 micron and larger.
This magnetic filter build in prior to the reservoir filter will catch this metal wear.

Ask yourself:
automatic transmission has a magnet in the oil pan to collect this very fine metal wear. Due to a connector leak (very common with our 722.6 gear box) I lately changed my transmission oil of my SL600 (17,000 miles) and was surprised how much metal sludge has been collected by the magnet.
Our ABC-System has such a wear also; has such sensitive valves also but NO magnetic filter build in!
