This product was developed after I ordered a carbon fiber dash kit. I hated the way the dash kit looked. It was just a big, shiny, puffy sticker that didn't even cover the entire piece that it was supposed to fit. Even worse was the fact that it cost over $200. I wanted something thinner, that would fit nicer than that puffy sticker dash kit and make the parts look more like they were made of real carbon fiber. Since it was for the interior of my car, I also didn't want it to look overly shiny and cause annoying glare. That's exactly why we developed this product. What we have here is thin, flexible, self adhesive vinyl cover for many pieces of your dash with the look and feel of real carbon fiber. It conforms to the curves of each piece and employs air drain technology to prevent air bubbles from forming underneath. Each piece is precision cut and fits thepieces of the dash assemblyperfectly.You will receive 20 pieces for the 1997-2002 Porsche Boxster 986 models (left and right upper dash switch panel covers, upper and lower horizontal trim covers, lower dash storage cubby / cd cassette holder fascia and batwing covers (with and without seat heater switch holes), heater & AC control surround cover, left and right side air vent covers, hazard light surround cover, ashtray / power window switch surround covers, additional center console trim covers, emergency brake lever cover, fuse panel cover, rearview mirror cover, and covers for the thin horizontal dash piece that runs the width of the dash) with detailed installation instructions. The pictures show our actual product installed. These kits are pre-cut, in stock and ready to ship. There is no waiting for them to be made like other dash kits.
