For auction is one pair of leather seats for 987 Boxster Cayman and 997 in Stone Gray.
Seats are in excellent condition, as removed from a 2008 Cayman with approximately 8K mi. that has been converted to a professional race car.
These seats feature two way power recline, heat function and manual fore/aft adjustment.
They will fit: 2005 - 2012 997 / 2005 - 2012 Boxster / 2006 - 2012 Cayman and ALL 986 Boxster and 996 Series 911.
The electrical connectors will only work via "plug n' play" for 2005 - 2012 Porsches.
There is an easy way to get the power recline to work for 986/996 vehicles. To get the heating function to work is just as simple but involves some resister/soldering work involved.
The last two pictures are of the seats installed in my wife's 2004 Boxster with gray interior - they look amazing and I only test fit a set to verify fitment.
This merely shows how the later 987/997 style seats will also fit in a 986/996. PLEASE DO NOT MESSAGE ME TO ASK IF THEY'LL FIT YOUR VEHICLE!! I've just answered that question!
There are many shipping options, to include local pickup, shipping via Greyhound and possible FREE transport (East Coast and some Midwest destinations).
Shipping larger/heavier items via Greyhound bus lines has proven to be a reliable/safe option for me.
These seats fit nicely in a U-haul wardrobe box - if seats are higher priced and in excellent condition, I ship one per box.
It costs approximately $120-$160 to ship two boxes of this size and weight, depending on destination, of course...and $30 worth of boxes/packaging.
I just shipped a pair of seats to L.A. and with 2 boxes, tape/padding and Greyhound fees, it was right at $185.
I have averaged the shipping price. If the shipping costs less than $150, I will gladly refund the difference.
If it is more, well then, I eat it.
This method is simply so I can get your items on their way without the hassle of figuring shipping before hand and waiting to adjust payment - I refuse to take the time to do so, I simply ship and refund what remains after paying for two large boxes and Greyhound shipping fees.
If we can arrange FREE transport via one of several options (generally described below), simply select "Local Pickup" at end of auction - and we'll make it happen.
Please inquire as to pick up and/or possible FREE transport options, depending on my travel plans. I frequent several Race Tracks on the East Coast and can arrange handing off the seats to a racing friend who may live close to you. This has also proven to be a safe/reliable means of shipping larger/heavier items.
