This wrench fits plastic housing based oil filters with the removable element on so manyGerman made cars, that we haven'tbeen able to compile anywhere near a complete list.We highly recommend that you measure the outside of your oil filter housing with an accurate ruler or caliper to be sure it's correct before you buy. The housing should measure 76mm (3 inches in diameter), and have 14 flats (flutes) around the perimeter. The wrench works with standard 3/8 square drive tools.It iswise to use this oil filter wrench with a torque wrench to drive it when reinstalling the oil filter housing. Porsche recommendsa torque wrench setting of 19 foot pounds (25Nm).
