For your consideration is a very solid rare original steel Maverick Grabber hood with both inserts. This hood has been in my garage attic for the last four years and it is time to let it go. I bought this hood just as it is but will do my best to describe its current condition The hood is in what I would consider to be extremely solid condition for its age and model. Very straight solid hood with no visible dents. It does appear that the front of the hood has had some previous work some time in the past as is evidenced by what appears to be a small spot of filler cracking in the very front of hood. I am not sure if this was due to a dent or famous maverick hood lip rust. It appears to have been a good repair that I would not have noticed except for the crack in the filler. I have included many close up pictures that I feel tell the story of this hood including the filler crack. also note some light rust on the very bottom corners of the hood. These areas are not rusted through but are slightly more significant than light surface rust but easily treated in my opinion. The hood is slightly damp in the pictures due to the fact I had just washed off four years of dust from sitting in the attic when they were taken today.I would prefer local pickup. I checked shipping on this item and it is very expensive around $150.00 depending on location in us only call Denton 317-781-1038 for details. Thanks for looking!
