GOING OUT OF BUSINESS CLEARANCE! After being in the business of machining and engraving custom automotive accessory parts for over 6 years, I\'m now shut down. Selling off my remaining inventory at Clearance prices, and I am quickly running out of many of my designs. I\'ve sold thousands of my custom CNC engraved auto parts over the years, and I\'d like to thank all the customers who helped make it the greatest job I\'ve ever had. What\'s listed here and what will be listed in the coming weeks is what I have left over in inventory.
This auction is for aCustom Made BilletAluminum Air Cleaner Wing Nut. I Started with 6061 T-6Aircraft-grade aluminum and CNC machined the shape and tapped the threads. Then I engraved into the aluminum on the top of the wing nut the Oldsmobile Logo and lettering (Please see the pictures). Afterengraving, the wing nut was \"colored in\", and then fine-sandedso the engraved designwould really stand out. Again. the design isactually cut into the aluminum (it\'s not justa sticker that canpeel off). This is an easy and inexpensive way to add a custom looktoyour engine compartment.
TheWing Nut is approximately 2.0\" long, 3/4\" wide and just under an inch Tall. The threads are the standard 1/4-20 UNC (This was BY FAR themostcommon thread size for American car air cleaner/carb. studs).However, if you have a different thread, it\'s not a problem: I can modify it toanyStandard or Metric Thread. A Quick word about the photos: Taking a good, representative picture of any of my custom automotive parts has always proved to be very difficult. The reflectiveness, the lighting, and the fine details have all been challenging. I did what I could to capture the part, but I dont think the photos do justice. It really is a nice looking custom part, and my customers have always been pleased with the results (just view my feedback).
