Up for sale is an extremely rare Datsun racing competition hood scoop. These were original made for the race cars having vapor lock problems due to heat and lack of ventilation. The old hoods were cut and had this scoop placed over it to better help the aerodynamics and cooling. The hood scoop up for sale is an original, competition hood scoop and not some copy or re pop. It does have some scratches and there is a few cut on the underside. This shouldn't be a problem being it's made from fiberglass. It simply mounts to the hood using 4 bolts. The bolts are molded into the hood scoop but they are missing the hardware that goes with it. Don't miss your chance to own a timeless piece of Datsun racing history for nearly 40 years ago!
