Installation:
1. Uninstall existing standing star emblem, by twisting the base from under the hood.
2. Place the flat emblem with screw through the hole from top of the hood.
3. Adjust the flat badge, to line up the orientation of the badge with center line on the hood.
4. Hold down the flat emblem to the top of the hood, MAKING SURE the emblem is not moving or being rotated, screw in the bracket handle over the screw from under the hood.
*DO NOT overtighten. It should be tightened just enough for the emblem to be held in place.
5. If installed correctly, the flat AMG emblem will fit flush with the surface of hood.
*DO NOT attempt to rotate or adjust the emblem, while the bracket handle is fully tightened.
If alignment is needed, loosen the bracket handle from under the hood, before making any adjustment.
