Here’s the deal onthese Made in the USA headers. This set is the Patriot#H8035 and are sold to fit the 1955 – 1957 Chevy vehicles with a B/B engine conversion. Because there’s so many different fit issuesand locations of the engines in your modified chassis there is NO RETURN onthese headers.
They do and have fit100’s of these conversions but this is what has to be done. Before you buy, build or even start to mockup your conversion, you have to do all of this around this set of headers. Buy the headers FIRST and then set up theengine mounting system. Large 2"with equal length (34") primary tubes and 3-1/2" diameter 3-boltcollectors. Heavy 3/8" flanges and 18 gauge tubing. Smoothbending in the radius and all Mig welded. Not to say they're not a great start forfabricating whatever you want to fabricate. They're made for the big block ChevyV8 engine mounted in your application after you bolt the headers to your engineand before you complete the mounts you have to fabricate. I know it's popular to move the big block engineforward to give you more distributor and heater box room, but that causesissues then. When you do that, now theheader down tubes/ collector are also moved forward and the back of the fronttire now has clearance issues. This is a nice deal on a quality set of headers.This set does include the gaskets, hardware and cone street hook up (collectors). Again NO RETURNS on these headers.
