Description

What is it? - This is an emergency key, also known as an “insert” key for the vehicles listed in the compatibility section above that use a “smart key” or “proximity key” system. The emergency key slides into your existing remote fob- it has no remote functions. It is used to open the door / start the car in the event the battery on your key dies. These make a great backup key at a much more affordable price than a whole replacement electronic key.

All you’ll have to do is have the key cut once you receive it. This is a high security key and can be done at your local dealer or locksmith.

USE THE COMPATIBILITY DROPDOWN ABOVE TO CONFIRM THAT THIS ITEM WILL WORK WITH YOUR VEHICLE.
SIMPLY CHOOSE YOUR YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL – IT’S THAT EASY!
