What is it? - This is a transponder key that will open the doors and start the car if your vehicle is listed in the compatibility section above. There are three simple steps to get this key working for your car:

1) Order the key.

2) Have it cut to match your existing key. This can be done by a local hardware store or any other place that cuts keys (typically Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc). Usually this costs less than $2. NOTE - you MUST have an existing key! If you don’t have an existing key, please call or email for assistance.

3) Follow the simple programming instructions included with your order. This procedure is extremely simple, there are no tools or special knowledge required. It takes less than 2 minutes to complete.

Brand new and uncut: This high quality replacement key contains the same exact transponder chip as your original car keys, and you will get a “better than the dealership” LIFETIME replacement warranty. We advise our customers to always have at least one spare, because if you lose your last key, most cars’ computers require an expensive procedure called a “re-flash” whereby the old keys are cleared from memory and the new (since you’re at the dealer-- EXPENSIVE) keys are then entered into memory. And don’t forget the towing charge. If your vehicle is one that doesn’t require a “re-flash”, then you’ll consider yourself “lucky” and just have to pay for a locksmith’s house call and keys (again, expensive). Again, all this can be avoided by buying a couple of cheap spares here.
