The engine mounts on your Tri-Five Chevy are crucial for reducing vibration and extending the life of your engine and its components. This Southwest Speed 1955-1957 Chevy front engine mounting kit mounts the Small Block Chevy engine in the correct location in 55-57 Tri-Five Chevy’s. The front engine mounts includes the shafts, rubbers, washers, nuts, & lock washers that are usually missing or worn out on 55-57 Tri-Five Chevy\'s. This kit will do both sides, & includes everything pictured to restore the mounts back to new condition. The Mountingbrackets are Powder Coated Black and are the OEM replacement brackets with all the correct contours. This kit includes both the left & right side front engine mounts, & both left & right side front engine mounting brackets, that includes everything pictured below, and is in stock & ready to ship today.
Note: These engine mounting brackets will only bolt on the early Chevy Engine Blocks that have the 4 bolt holes tapped 3/8\"-16 in the front. These tapped holes are located in the cast bosses, that are either side of the timing cover, just above the harmonic balancer. It is possible to tap these holes on the blocks that are not threaded, but requires a skilled installer.
