This listing is for a Custom CNC Engraved Radiator HoseClamp for NASHes. It has engravedinto the band of the clamp the old NASH Lettering (see pictures).
This itemstarted as an IDEAL/TRIDON Brand wormgear Hose Clamp Size #28. (Size #28 isthe common size for radiator hose clamps, It fits a wide range from 1-1/4\"to 2-1/4\", which is most radiator hoses). I figured out a way to hold the hose clampin my CNC Machining Center,and I engraved the design right into the Stainless Steel Band of theClamp. The IDEAL TRIDON Brand Hose Clamps areone of the few clamps that are still made in the good ol\' U.S.A. And I use their Hy-Gear 50-0 line of clamps which use the stronger 9/16\" wide band as opposed to the standard 1/2\" wide.Taking a picture of the hose clamp proved to be very difficult. I don\'t think the pictures do it justice, itreally is a nice looking custom part.
You may be wondering \"Who careswhat a hoseclamp looks like?\". And to be honest, most people probablydon\'t. But there are people (like myself) who really appreciate the smalldetails. I had a set ofcustom engravedhose clamps on my owncar that I brought to car shows (It was a 1973 Hornet Hatchback), and you\'d besurprised at the number of compliments I received about such a small detailitem.
