Mustang 5.0 GT40 Style Upper and Lower Intake Manifold Set WITH EGR and all hardware. This is the same style that Ford sold through the Ford Racing Catalog. These should fit 5.0 Mustangs from 87-93. Again, this unit IS ported for EGR. This is great if you want/need EGR to keep your Pony street legal in emission testing states! I clean these up and sell them as a hobby. I do NOT intentionally paint over grease and dirt like some intakes for sale (if that happens with one of my intakes it is an accident). Should be ready to bolt on and go! It's hard to find these things this clean and in good condition! Why waste your money on a filthy intake that you don’t know if the threads are damaged or about any other damage? That being said, I do not advertise a “perfect” intake.
These are pressure washed, tanked, and scrubbed by hand before painting. Lower intakes that have NOT been glass blasted are pressure washed and cleaned by hand. If pitting has become too severe, I have the intake machined. ALL THREADS HAVE BEEN CHECKED AND/OR CHASED! This protects me as well as you. You know you are getting an intake free of defects, I know that if anything happens with threads, its due to improper installation. Keep in mind that you are buying a USED intake and that some pitting and imperfections cannot be removed. Pictured is the actual intake that you will receive. This unit did NOT require glass blasting and was simply washed. The upper is a high gloss black and the lower, throttle body, and spacer are painted a metallic silver. The throttle body is a 65mm unit (see picture). I DO NOT know if the IAC or TPS sensors are good/bad. The same applies to the EGR valve as well. They are simply being included. The lower mating surfaces and the throttle body and EGR spacer surfaces were checked and belt sanded for straightness and sealing benefits. The plaques are painted by hand, so please don't judge me too badly! Due to popular request, I am offering to interchange Intake plaques for either option I have available (please see the picture that shows the Intake with another plaque.) If you would like another color combination, please just ask first. If there are ANY questions, please ask them before bidding/buying. If you need an additional picture, a question, a concern, please just ask! I do not accept returns and I do try to describe each one the best that I can. I recommend the higher performance intake gaskets as they are thicker and seem to seal better with used intakes. Again, PLEASE ask any questions ahead of time before bidding/buying.
These things are heavy (42lbs) so shipping is rough, but I usually absorb a good chunk of it. I’ve found that packaging them myself and shipping them FedEx seems to be the cheapest (usually right at $45). If you would like FedEx to package it for you, they charge around $120. Low ball offers will be ignored and offers are often determined by your shipping location. Would cost much more than the asking price if you tried to "piece it" together.
