Auction includes ONE (1) replacement shaft for either one of the heater control unit's outer controlknobs. Thispart is a direct injection molded replacement for the OEM shaft, not an inferior cast part being sold online. Cast resin (poured or injected) partsdo not have the structural strength due to the materials used and the inherent airpocket imperfections to last in this application. Cast shafts with a "metal core" is an even worse idea (casting resin is designed not to "stick" to things) as the shear forces are not transferred to the core at all but reside completely on the porous casting resin. Please heed our advice, we have done extensive testing with casting resins and found them all to be inferior to injection molded parts. Remember that a lifetime warranty will notsave you the trouble of having to keep replacing an inferior shaft. Our feedback speaksvolumes about the quality of our part and our dedication to customer service. Contact us if for any reason you are notsatisfied with our product and we will make it right. Not available at dealers. Made in theUSA.We have put together a short video to demonstrate the installation ofthis part.

If you need the part sooner, pleaseclick on shipping details where you can choose expedited shipping for anadditional fee.

***Please beware the only other shafts that are being sold are cast plastic resin shafts. The cost of replacing cast shafts multiple times in your time alone will cause you more grief than they are worth. We did extensive testing on cast shafts with many different casting resins before settling on this more expensive but superior ABS injection molding process. Our shafts are injection molded from solid ABS plastic making them even more practical than the OEM shafts which have a tendency to get brittle and snap. Be advisedthat this shaft will break if, a) your knob's black engagement fins have beenbroken off and b) you do not engage the shaft's fins and knob's fins completelytogether. If you use a knob that is intact and you seat them together correctlyyou will not have any issues. With over 600 in use we have had 4 customerissues and all 4 shaft failures were traced to those two situations. It is recommended that you change the gearson the heater control unit to the newer redesigned style to make the mechanismmove smoothly to prevent breaking the shaft multiple times.***
