In the late 70s, while driving around, I watched a 1970 Chevelle make a U turn in front of me. As I rolled my window down to listen to the beat of the motor, I heard a sound from the SS as it passed me that I had never heard before. My friend who was with me said \"Oh, Big Block Scabbies\". Big Block what? I learned they were headers made by Mickey Thompson, called Super Scavenger Headers and when I got my first set, I was fascinated by the design. The main tubes are all of equal length with them being staggered as they emptied into the massive collectors that thumped out that unique Super Scavenger sound. I\'ve always remembered and loved that special sound and getting back into the car world in 2000, I have searched trying to find any original sets but with little success. Then about 4 or 5 years ago, I came across this beautiful reproduction set. I already have another set on my Chevelle but this one is brand new, ceramic coated and polished. They have never been mounted and just been sitting in their box. I\'m selling it to raise some cash to get my Camaro back on the road again. They will fit 1966 - 72 Big Block Chevelles and give your ride a sound like very few other muscle cars have and will definitely put a big smile on your face. Email me for questions.
