The Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 is an All-Season Grand Touring tire that was developed to provide driving harmony by blending responsive handling with good ride and noise comfort. It was developed to blend some of the looks and handling of a performance tire with the reduced noise and ride comfortassociated with a premium passenger tire, as well as provide year-round traction, even in light snow.
On the outside, the Pilot HX MXM4 features a weather-tuned tread compound molded into a symmetric tread design to provide traction on dry, wet and snow-covered roads. The independent tread blocks provide snow biting edges and are combined with circumferential grooves to evacuate water out from under the tire\'s footprint to reduce hydroplaning and enhance wet traction. Internally, the Pilot HX MXM4 features twin steel belts reinforced by Michelin\'sBAZ (Banded At Zero) spiral-wrapped polyamide cord to stabilize the tread area and enhance treadwear, handling and high-speed capability. The Pilot HX MXM4 features a polyester cord body to provide a smooth ride.

The tire is on My 2009 MB300E4matic. The front driverside tire had a big tear about half of the outer circle in the inner sidewall. The car itself has 62000Kms, since I use winter tires that means this tire is under 50000KMs for sure. I know the warranty will be expired after 6 years but it is ridiculous the tire won\'t last over 50000Km and put my life in risk.I contact the customer service they tell me the tire is over 6 years old and there is nothing they can do. So, why you advertise something like 70000, 80000 and100000Km warranties??? These are not cheap tires, I rotate and balance them once a year, the tires have never been driven in winter and it fall apart just under 50K! Shame on you! Will never buy again! I am lucky because the car detect something wrong with the tire pressure so I stopped before I get killed. I was so shocked when I saw the big big tear! If you want a tire will stop you in the middle of nowhere and risk your life then go ahead buy it. Anyone interested to see the photo just ask me, I like to share with you to see how bad the tire is!!!
Review from August 6, 2016Rating: 7.43These are the OEM tires for the Cadillac Performance model. At 43,000 miles the tread wear still looks good but hydroplaning and wet weather response is so poor that I no longer feel safe in wet weather and are replacing what looks to be a tire that could getanother 10K on the treadlife. With mostly highway miles, the performance and ride has been good, and the tire is quiet enough, but spirited driving handling has been mediocre and does not inspire confidence.
Review from July 5, 2016Rating: 5.82These are the OEM tires for my 2012 Buick Regal. I purchased General Altimax RT43 to replace these and can not describehow much better my ride quality is. Let me start by saying I have own the car since new and put 49,000 miles on these tires. After changing my tires the car feels, sounds, and handles hands down better. I thought that I owned a noisy highway car; however, it was simply due to these tires. The only positive I can say is that the V rated tires are warrantied for 50,000 miles and I got basicallyexactly that no more no less. They are simply acceptable nothing more nothing less. IMO keep looking... I feel like I have a better car after replacing these... it\'s that simple. Lastly, The snow and winter handling are down right SCARY with these on and I live in Northern Wisconsin.
