Thanks for looking. This is an original AMG front air dam chin spoiler for w126 sedan and c126 coupe only. The one you\'ve been looking for, for god knows how long. One of these days I hope to find one of these for my 300d that you see in the background of the first picture, but I\'m not holding my breath for that to happen any time soon. Suffice it to say these don\'t come around too often. This one\'s an original AMG, not a reproduction. This is for Euro models only I believe, in that the outer edge of the spoiler has a lip that comes up and over the bumper and meets the fender. I\'m not an expert on the 126 AMG stuff, but I\'m going to go out on a limb and say this will only fit your car if you have the Euro front bumper, and not the North American style bumper. I\'m pretty sure if you\'re looking at this listing you know what this is and have an idea as to how to get it to fit your car.
I\'m not gonna lie, and the pictures do the talking as well, but the chin spoiler\'s in rough shape. The worst damage is under the AMG logo--you can see the plastic has chipped there on the under-side. There\'s also another crack on the bottom side a few inches deep, some screw holes and a paint job that\'s seen better days. Whoever installed this last definitely did a diy home job on it and wasn\'t a pro. He screwed it in in several places rather than taking the time to properly install it. I\'m not gonna say it\'s an easy fix, but if you know how to plastic weld and bondo, you can get rid of the screw holes and take care of the one crack on the bottom side. The chipped plastic you can\'t do much about, but anything\'s possible with time and skill. The best part about this is that it\'s intact and authentic. There are also two bolts on the edges where this bolts through your front bumper cover. You will need to drill two holes per corner on your bumpers if you wanna add this to your car, plus additional screws to keep it on firmly.
