The process involves a chemical dip, media blasting, coating with crinkle powder coat, and then bakingto cure the powder paint. Threaded holes were plugged so threads are not filled with the thick powder paint. The powder paint is very durable and will stand up to the temperatures and extreme conditions beneath the hood of your Miata.
