48 state legal Heavy Metal Substrate Catalytic Converter
Legal everywhere except California unless you can install it yourself. Also new 2014 law passed by state of New York has adopted the same California regulations. Making this not legal for shops in New York Or California to install. They require cats especially made to be sold in the states of California and New York to install. So basically if you live in California or New York shops will not install it for you. They force you to buy from them. This cat will pass smog testing if you can install it yourself or know someone who will install it for you. This requires cutting the old cat off and welding in this new one. It's another ploy to make more money for your local government.
Keep in mind thatoccasionally we'll have a customer email saying that their mechanic told us it's the wrong cat and that you need a different one because they want to sell you a different cat to make more money off of you. This cat is definitely the correct rear cat for all the vehicles listed. Some mechanics want the bolt on version which is double the money while 80% of the time the bolts and nuts are rusted where you have to cut them off anyways. It's a simple job. Tell them to cut off the old one and weld in the new one. Any muffler shop can do this. It's a simple job that should be no more than $50 to $75. A 1 hour max job. So many times customers run into mechanics that only think of doing a job one way. If you tell them exactly what I just specified there's not much they will say back.

This is a newer style universal that will work on all newer cars to date for all 49 states. Will take care of the check engine light if the factory cat is the problem. This is not a guarantee it will solve your car problem. Many other things can factor into throwing your check engine light like a bad o2 sensor or other bad sensor.

Bad aftermarket cats are not eligible, but if you have the original factory cat we pay anywhere on average from $50 to $100. Prices vary on the vehicle it is off of. Details are provided in the package when you receive it. Typically the import vehicles that this cat would be used for you would get all your money back. For the domestics around $40 to $50 back to give you an example.

In order to have the shipping so cheap for Australian bidders we will not ship in original box. It will go into a USPS Medium Flat Rate box, but will still include the warranty card. This only applies to Australia shipping. If you need the retail box shipping is an additional $10.
