Hardtop Owners - now you can remove your soft top for weight and space savings without damaging it!Nothing mysterious here - these are cut-up structural pieces from a soft top frame that will let you completely remove your soft top, mount your hard top (and seat belts !!) using factory hardware, and later, reinstall your soft top. If you are like me and prefer the hard top full-time, these are a good way to preserve your soft top and frame for later use without driving around with the extra 35 lbs or so. These are modified used stock parts - it is just enough of the soft top frame to bolt in the hardtop side strikers and attach the seat belts without performing any destructive modifications. If you decide one day to go back to a ragtop (or decide to sell the car), just unbolt these, bolt back in your intact soft top/frame combination, and you\'re done.Racers, if you have separate safety belt mounting points, you can trim these down further and save substantially more weight while still maintaining the structural mounting points for the hard top.Free shipping in the USA only.What you get - one pair (right and left) brackets.
