We see and inspect all hardtops that we sell, the photos you see in the listing are of the item we have in hand. We do not sell items without handling them ourselves.
Overall the hardtop is in very good condition. There are no leaks and the headliner is excellent. There is a bit of wear showing in the rubbers, as expected on a 10+ year old part, but they are in a good condition.
As this is a used roof, there will be some small marks/light scratches in the paint finish. There are chips that run down the inner lip of the front edge, most of which have been touched up with paint, these chips will not be noticeable when fitted. There is one part of the lacquer which is a slightly lighter colour that can only just be seen in the right light, hardly noticeable. The mark sits approx. 9cm above the rear window to the right and is approx. 3cm x 1cm. There is a small chip, shown in images, the chip is 5mm x 2mm and requires a touch up.
The roof comes with the rare OEM fitting kit comprising of chrome rear brackets, mid striker posts and heated rear screen/defogger cable. All necessary bolts and a printed fitting guide will also be included. We do have a small selection of factory pre-cut plastic inner trim panels and soft top delete brackets in stock, these are only available with the purchase of a hardtop, please contact us for details.
We Only ship in purpose built wooden crates, we do not ship the roofs in cardboard boxes. This does mean that there is an increased cost in both shipping and packaging over our competitors, but we would rather cover these costs ourselves and be sure that the hardtops arrive in one piece.
Free shipping is to the United States only, Inc Alaska. Shipping to Hawaii, Canada and remote areas within the other 49 states may incur additional charges. (We were recently able to ship to Fairbanks Alaska at no extra cost and within 10 working days of the part being ordered)
The roof will be dispatched via tracked & insured air freight within 2 working days of cleared payment. Delivery timescale is typically around 10 working days, but may be higher depending upon local US Customs
