These OEM original roof rack bars are high quality stainless steel so they do not rust.
Very hard to find and no longer available through Mercedes Benz
This set of OEM Bars work nicely for their age

One end of each bar ispredominately fixed ~ the other end is spring loaded
When stored the spring loaded end willseparate due to age
