Up for auction is a USGI Bridge Plate with ten numbers and the \"C\" plate. What you see is what you get. This bridge plate is a transitional plate. It was painted green by the military in the \'70\'s when they went from OD Green to MERDC camo on their vehicles. The bridgeplate itself was green. However after soaking the main plate in scolding hot water, the Green paint simply scraped off. Apparently, the military just sprayed green paint over the original glossy yellow. Thus no real bond between the original paint and the Green. I say all this to explain the paint can probably be scraped off all the number plates for the original yellow ones. I don\'t have the time nor the motivation to do this. I will leave this up to the buyer.
This bridge plate is a must for early \'70\'s and Vietnam Era military vehicles!!!
