- Manufacturer\'s Information: 1. Always disconnect grounded cable from battery before replacing terminal on either cable.
- 2. Remove old terminal by cutting or sawing as close to terminal as possible.
- 3. Strip cable insulation approximately 1/2 inch back from cable end.
- 4. Remove hex nut and square washer plate from new terminal stud post.
- 5. Insert base end of stripped cable into copper lug opening and securely crimp or solder lug to end of cable.
- 6. Install copper lug over new terminal threaded stud post. Attach hex nut with washer and tighten.
- 7. Clean battery post.
- 8. Always replace ground cable connection last. Place new terminal over battery post and tighten firmly.
- Note: Do not hammer terminal on post. If it is too tight spread terminal slightly.
- Crimp eyelet terminals included. Made in Taiwan. Warnings: Always wear safety glasses when working around batteries.
