About Me:
My name is Dana Johnson. My father Geoffrey Johnson started Tomco Engineering in 1974, making custom Lotus spares for Dave Bean and body shops. In the 80s he built complete molds of the Europa TC and Elan S4, later hiring his friend, the legendary Gerry Foley to make parts from these molds through the 90s. When Gerry decided to retire a few years ago, he ask my father if we wanted to takeover making parts, at which point I decide to carry on the tradition.
It’s important to me to continue to provide quality spares to the Lotus community as my father and Gerry did. I make parts the same way Lotus did in the 60s each part is made by hand using only the best materials.
About My Parts:
Parts are finished with raw black gelcoat (or the color of your choice). Standard body thickness is 6 ply, and standard part thickness is 4 ply (which is standard for Lotus Europa and Elan parts). Upon request, I can make parts with more or less ply.
I don't make parts until you place your order. On average it takes two weeks from the time you order for parts to ship.
