The light is produced by a LED chip on a circuit board and is cast outwards through projector lenses which are a lot like magnifying glasses. The lenses are precision cut to provide that perfect flat line of light in low beam so as not to blind oncoming traffic yet still see out wide to the sides of the road. There are no globes as such and the LED chip cant break with vibrations or overheating and lasts for ever. Naturally we'd fix that sort of thing under warranty anyway but it never happens. Gone are the days of blown globes, dim candle lights and rusty housings.
If you ever have the time to read the ADR's (Australian Design Rules) first be warned it's like reading a phone book. But what makes JTX legal are those chips. They must have a specific rating so as not to need self levelling or self cleaning. Then the people who wrote the ADR used the term Lumens by mistake and not Lux - see Lux is the intensity of light at a given spot and can be measured at the front of a car. Lumens however is the amount of light expelled by a source in a 3D totally surrounding space like on the inside face of a ball and that cant be measured on a car. And given the device for measuring globe Lumens is about the size of a tennis ball you cant fit a headligh inside it. The transport authorities realise this now and so it's become super relevant that we make our lights in Australia and we have been able to demonstrate our components. Safe to say imported lights cant do that right?
We offer these in Chrome or Black face. Because the light is "Projected" and not "Reflected" your choice of Black vs Chrome makes no difference to light output or performance. It's just a look. Black looks more modern while Chrome is more classic.
Then you have a choice of Halo (Day Running Light) options starting with No Halo. We can do 2 x colours of Halo and commonly a main colour that can auto turn off then flash amber when you are indicating. After the turn they auto go back to thte main colour again. The most common is white that flashes amber which is legal because only White and Amber is allowed to face forwards on the road. Having spoken to literally thousands of motoring enthusiasts we spotted a need for special colours that suit the look of the car but can be made legal by flicking to white for driving legally. So we offer colour with white options and you can switch between the two with a switch.

All of our JTX LED headlights are plug and play using your regular 3 pin H4 socket. Only if you have a Toyota, Datsun or Suzuki you will need our new Smart JTX Toyota Load Modules which solve negative switching, reverse polarity, providing an earth for DRL to work as well as spotties and blue dash light not coming on. Make sure you guys buy one of our Toyota, Datsun or Suzuki listings so we know about your wiring needs and we'll chuck them in for you free of charge.
Wiring up the Day Running Lights is very easy They get their earth through the 3 pin H4 headlight socket. The red wire is to power the primary DRL colour. Wire that to the parkers or to a power source that comes on with the ignition. The yellow wire powers the secondary colour which is typically amber in which case connect to indicator or to a separate switch if you have a twin colour set up like red and white.

These suit Australian left side of road and satisfy the requirements of ADR 00/13. In fact they have the ADR ref stamped on the lens and come with an ADR compliance statement. We have demonstrated the manufacturing process, the Lumens of the chips etc to Police and state level departments of transport. Our JTX lights do not need to be self cleaning or self levelling to comply with ADR 00/13. We are presently undertaking specific lab testing for approval certification process to be extra sure.
These are unbreakable. They come with a lifetime warranty and we will replace a light even if it is damaged in a collision. You cant even break them with a hammer. White and Colour Halo - when driving it's only legal to have white or amber facing forwards so the answer to having a car with a red theme and wanting red halo is for the halo to be White (which is legal) and at the flick of a switch it's red for when you want to show it off. But there's no indicator with these. Here are our options.

Note that the halo on this light is not legal on the roads. The hi and low beams are legal but to remain legal on the road the halo must be off.

Our 7" Halo lights look and work like normal headlights. Their crystal reflector manages the light distrubtion really well too. The Hi and Low beam aspect is ADR approved and allowed in every state. As for coloured halo only white and amber is legal on the road. With a switch on the dash you can decide when its appropriate to have the halo on.
They have a string of 36 very bright LEDs around the outside. You can make them come on with parkers or could have their own switch inside the car. Amber version is popular with trucks.

Sealed Beam lights have the globes built inside during manufacture and they are totally sealed. There is no air or oxygen inside them so they cant rust inside. No water can get in so they are popular with the offroad enthusiast likely to negotiate deep water. Historically this was the original light in a lot of cars and so we sell a lot to people who want to freshen up with the same again. These are ADR compliant, E stamped and legal in all states.
