This is a listing for a pair of X308/X300 XJ8/XJ6 XJR rear exhaust box delete pipes. These are made from a very high quality 304 stainless steel. They are a direct fit onto any for the XJ6 and XJ8 3.2, 4.0 and 4.0 S/C car. They fit the XJs from 1995 - 2002. We have test fitted these on a number of X308's. We find there is a deeper exhaust note on idle, you get a louder exhaust while driving and a growl on acceleration. Our youtube channel has a video of the differences. You do get a slightly louder internal cabin noise but still manageable and not too intrusive. You can still have a conversation at most speeds.
The pipes are made to a very high quality. We have been using the same manufacturer for our performance exhausts for the last 20 years. You will notice a big difference compared to other alternatives on the market. Even visually you will see there is virtually no collapse on the bends.
You may not be able to use your existing tips, the ends of these pipes aremodeledon the original XJR8 superchargedV8 car whichhas the largest style of tips out of the X300/X308 range. If you have a naturally aspiratedXJ and or a supercharged straight six car then you will need to either modify your tips o fit or buy some of the tips which we can supply at extra cost. You can purchase aftermarket versions, if so you need a tip to fit a 58mm pipe. We do sell the tips that are the same as the ones fitted to the car pictured. Please ask for price.
