These stepper motors are the original manufacturer equipment, the latest version, upgraded and improved. The knock-offs are extremely cheap imitations and very prone to failure. They usually only last a few months. GM and Ford trust and ONLY use Juken. The motors you
want are the latest version X27-168 (like sold in this listing). The china made
aftermarket motors are black in color. Another knockoff company "MCR" uses white to mimic the
genuine Juken motors. The sellers of these loosely try to pass them off as the
genuine factory maker, using the numbers "X25-168" and "X27-168" throughout
their listings and in title, but read closely for terms like "reference to" or
If any of
your gauges are sticking, shuttering, giving false readings,
pegging out or dead, faulty stepper motors are the epidemic

YOURSELF and save money
It's very easy and fast (removing the cluster from the car is harder than
it is repairing it)
set of 4 new stepper motors (non-defective -
upgraded ones that won't fail / X27-168). This is enough to
repair up to 4 malfunctioning gauges, any 4, speedometer, tach, fuel,
temp, oil ect...
-Ten gauge cluster mini bulbs (the correct voltage and mA draw. Other sellers are selling the wrong spec bulbs that will be too dim or too bright)
-One foot of quality solder wire (Kester brand), the
correct size and type..
-Instructions w/ full color illustrated pictures that were put together
with the amateur/novice at soldering in mind. The only thing not
included is the tools
(standard hand tools, solder iron and desoldering sucker or desolder wick)
that you probably already have around the
