HYDRAULIC CLUTCH KIT
Put an end to the CJ Clutch Linkage disconnecting at the worst time Blues!!! Convert to Hydraulic with our kit, Minor fabrication may be required but basically a bolt on . May be adapted to most applications. The little Master Cylinder bolts to the firewall and hooks up inline with the clutch pedal, The "slave cylinder" bolts to bellhousing (factory with provision) and presses into the clutch fork, The hose connects the two. M/C, Slave and Hose may vary from photo. 36" braided hose has 7/16-24 male ends that adapt to female 7/16-24 inverted flare ports.
Works with virtually any application including Muscle Cars (fabrication required)
A few customers claim M/C will notclear power brake booster on CJ.
Additional fabrication required on frame mounted pedals.
Installation: This kit will fit most any application, you may need fabricate a bracket to mount the slave to the bellhousing in a position to achieve 1.5" of stroke on the clutch fork, you will mount the master cylinder on the firewall inline with the clutch pedal in a position to get 1.5" of stroke on the master cylinder (you may need to lengthen or shorten the pushrod) connect the 36" braided hose in the kit and bleed the master cylinder and slave cylinder.
Slave cylinder piston has no retainer and is retained by correct geometry / travel to clutch fork, no warranty or refundif slave cylinder piston and seal is pushed out of the bore!!!!!!
