DRT Noise Reduction Technology (NRT) will eliminate the humming noise during braking. Conventional cross drilled/slotted rotor create harmonic frequencies (humming) during braking. In Noise Reduction Technology (NRT) the drilled/slotted patterns are machined 180 degrees from each other. When the brake pedal is applied, one side will create positive harmonic frequencies, and the opposite side will create negative harmonic frequencies. The positive and negative frequencies will cancel each other out to reduce the humming noise. The left wheel and right wheel will also cancel out each other. NRT rotors will eliminate humming noise in the cabin for a comfortable driving experience.
NRT rotors does not have any negative affect on the performance nor will it reduces the longevity of the rotor. It has been tested and proven to reduces humming noise.

DRT Sport rotors feature a knife edge slot design. The end of the slots are machined at an angle to create a ramp which helps channel out the brake dust. With every rotation the slots keep the brake pad surface clean of brake dust and prevent glazing. Brake performance will also increase with more positive pedal feel. Cross drilled holes are designed to increase air circulation for maximum cooling. During wet driving condition the slots and drilled holes will channel out water from the friction surfaces.

Centric premium high carbon brake rotors contain an advanced metallurgy that greatly reduces the possibility of pad squeal especially with higher friction, European style brake pad compounds. Proprietary Molybdenum and Chromium alloys resist rotor cracking during high performance use or repeat stop situations. This alloy also increases the friction couple improving brake performance and stopping power. Centric premium rotors utilize an Electrocoating finish that provides long lasting corrosion protection. E-coating is a superior electro-statically applied finish designed to withstand 400 hours of salt water exposure without rusting. Phosphate finishes utilized by other manufacturers provide only minimal protection from the elements; these finishes are generally only effective for the shipping and storage portion of a rotor’s life. The addition of heat and moisture eliminates the effectiveness of phosphate finishes resulting in immediate corrosion once installed in the vehicle.
Centric brake rotors feature a double disc ground finish which virtually eliminates run out and any disc thickness variation issues. Double disc grinding also produces a non-directional finish for improved rotor and pad break-in.

Don't be fooled by the low quality zinc plated rotors that will cost you more for the long run. These rotors has very low quality the metallurgy will not meet the manufacturer's specification of your vehicle. The internal vane structure are tapered style which doesn't meet OEM specification. Tapered vane does not distribute heat evenly to both sides of the rotor which will lead to a premature warping. Zinc plating are not intended to be use on brake rotor. When brake dust is exposed to the road's elements and moisture it will form hydrochloric acid, which will deteriorate the plating very quickly. Once it's deteriorated the rotors will rust in a couple of months. Zinc plating can be use on interior components which are not expose to the road's elements, just not on brake rotors. Zinc plating does not improve the quality of the rotor. Quality rotor has to start with high quality metallurgy and craftsmanship.

To avoid costly mistake we highly recommend that you hand torque the wheels to the manufacture's specification every time it is removed. Allow the brakes to cool down before washing the vehicle. Washing the vehicle while the brakes are hot will distort the rotors.
