This is a repair kit for the glove box lid in all 78-88 Porsche 928s and all 85.5 on944s and 968s. It replaces the plastic brackets that hold the glove box lid in place when its opened.
It is made of bare steel. The color is unfinished plain grey steel but can be painted. Four #4 x 1/2\" andfour #4 x 3/8\"Phillipsscrews (total 8, you will use only 4) are included.

Domestic Shipment
- Hood/Bonnet liners and carpet are shipped by the US Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail or Fed Ex Ground/Home Delivery depending on size, weight and destination.
- Shipments of floor insulation and carpet to the US Southwest and West Coast will be via Fed Ex Ground or Fed Ex Home Delivery.
- Experience has shown the in transit time from here (Dearborn Heights, Michigan) for Fed Ex Ground and Fed Ex Home Delivery to the US Southwest and West Coast is 4 - 6 business days, Florida and East coast is 4 - 5 business days. The Midwest is 1 - 3 business days.
- Sometimes it is necessary to fold carpet to avoid “oversize” charges.
- Fed Ex Home Delivery delivers on Saturday. Fed Ex Ground does not.
- Experience has shown the in transit time for the US Postal Service Priority mail is 2 - 5 business days. Delays can happen due to missed pickups by the carrier, the carrier not getting back to the Post Office in time at the end of the day and/or weather.
- While The USPS does provide a label tracking number for Priority Mail, packages are not often scanned and USPS tracking info on their web site is missing or not up to date.
- Fed Ex does have reliable tracking information and your email address will be entered to receive notifications. If you do not receive them, Please check your spam filter.
- Nut & bolt sets, small brackets, and decals are sent via US Postal Service First Class Mail. Transit time is 2 - 7 days depending on distance and other delaying factors.
- There is no tracking information for USPS First Class Mail.
International Buyers – Please Note:

- Experience has shown that transit time for shipments to Canada is 5 -14 days. Europe is 6 -14 days. Australia, Asia and other parts of the world is 10 - 21 days.
- Nut & bolt sets, small brackets, and decals are sent via US Postal Service International First Class Mail (Airmail, Par Avon). Transit time is about 5-7 days to Canada and 10 -30 days for other countries.
- Sometimes packages are held by the receiving country Customs or taxing authority for days or even weeks. This is an issue with your federal or local authorities and not with me or the United States Postal Service.
- The USPS requires a copy of the original invoice be included with each shipment that states the value of the goods.
