Porsche factory / genuine hard top + aftermarket storage stand / cover.
The top is factory Arctic Silver with a Black headliner, as removed from a 2000 Boxster S.
Top is the same for ALL 986 series Boxster, 1997 - 2004.
Top/headliner are in excellent condition with little to NO scratches, etc.
Storage stand is NEW, a quality aftermarket unit, purchased just a few months ago to store/protect the top while not in use.
Top comes with both factory female receivers/receptacles for the rear contact points and the factory front handle cover. It also includes the storage stand.
These are becoming exceedingly rare to find for the 986.
I'm offering local pickup and possible FREE delivery, along the East Coast, depending on travel schedule. I travel to Western and Northern Va. quite often, as well as the Baltimore, MD area - please inquire, prior to purchase.
IF you require freight shipping, I've created a shipping option simply to have a shipping option. The freight fee of $275 is not etched in stone...if after palletizing / covering / strapping and freight charges, it costs more, buyer will be expected to pay the difference...if it's less, I will gladly refund after charges are posted to my account.
I reserve the right to deliver the top myself, if within the region and outside of my travel plans...in this case, a reasonable fee will apply to cover expenses/time.
This top is quite bulky and somewhat heavy, it will require a pallet, padded blankets and strapping to increase the chances for a safe / no-damage shipment.
If you are unsure of, or question freight / shipping charges, simply select the "Local Pickup" option and we'll figure out the best, perhaps most economical method of shipping. I am quite adept at shipping larger/heavier items.
